These two months I ended up walking too busy and, after two years without fail, have not written any blog entries. I did not, because the motivation to do (keep up with a record of my progress in the Masters) has become a major disincentive (every time I navigate this blog and see my first posts with unrealistic schedules and long just crushed me fancy is whining).

Today I returned to pick up the EMG machine and I'm back in the fight to end .... with PCM, I'm finding space to give you millions and conceive that great document that will be my thesis, a reference to the generations to come: D.

This week I devoted myself totally to the survey for the discipline of advanced topics. Although still not finished I have reviewed the following techniques: EMG, EEG, EOG, Breath-Joystick, Vocal Joystick, Mouthsticks. Failure to pass the paper some of the knowledge acquired as well as review some methods: Eye-Tracking, Switches and Joysticks, hybrid solutions. Failure to develop further discussion, I have already started.

For ADL, the prototype is almost finished, lacking only the creation of demo applications in LEMe Wall and reporting.

I also started writing the final version of the paper Blon for HCII and to submit an Extended Abstract for the 2007 Gestures on my master thesis (specifically on the choice of electromyography for a mobile application for quadriplegics).

This week I devoted myself to finish the article Gestures for 2007 with Ricardo Gamboa. I also started to prepare PCM laboratories and to review the state of the art paw Advanced Topics.
I reviewed the reports and surveys of II of my advisees.

For Advanced Topics, reorganized the bibliography to return to the load.
The goal remains to obtain TA ADL and shipped by the end of January.

Halloween Striped Ideas

This week I focused on finishing the project ADL. 've Missed more ... Applications communicate and we are to deal with improving the manager and manipulation.

Also meeting with my advisees. I wrote an article for the 2007 Gestures with Ricardo Gamboa Mnemonix within the Body, we are still finishing. To get material for the article, Ricardo helped to do some studies with users.

New year, new planning. This time, without diagrams, but realistic. I hope I can overcome all the challenges of my Masters (counting the adjacent tasks) in the time proposed. So I hope to finish:

• ADL and ED (January 30) are both routed

this month and have nearly one hundred percent to end the chairs and have the notes released before applying to doctoral programs.

• signal Myographical Research (February 15)

this time I intend to improve the signal processing. At the end of this task will have a viewing platform Myographical fairly complete signal which carries the entire study. At this stage I have also developed mechanisms for processing and activation detection to include the final prototype.

• control of mobile devices (March 30)

hope this time to have a final prototype was tested on a mobile device that meets all the objectives of my study (control of major functions phone, specially written text .. SMS).

• Provisional version of the thesis (May 30)

I hope to have the draft version at this time. I already have enough stuff and I intend to go along writing research. Et voila ...

this week focused on continued testing with users and Quill in the draft RHS.

Quill tests are going well and after this phase only missing the version distributed (spread across several other machines scrollzinhos: D) and documentation to complete the project. We also have good reviews (and suggestions) we will attempt to prototype improve after analyzing the results. In the draft
