Fans of mouthwash with alcohol are the source of an Australian study that combines the use of such product to the increased incidence of oral cancer. The research was published in late 2008 in The Daily Telegraph, the Australian Dental College and indicates that the alcohol present in the mouthwash to be spread by mouth produces acetaldehyde, a carcinogen.
